2D measurements
Tools include those to measure length between 2 points, an angle between 3 points, make an analysis of a region using a variety of functions like maximum, minimum and mean value of density value inside the region or its standard deviation.

3D measurements & Pixel value analysis
Measurement in 3D environment is conducted with point to point or point to plane length measure, measuring the angle of 3 points or 2 planes, or the dimension of a bounding cube. Next to simple measurements, you can also assess volume of the segmented data and their surface. MedicView enables you to extract a full profile of the tissue, making a pixel value analysis based on a pixel value table, pixel coordinates and investigation of the pixel’s value density.

VOI analysis
You can choose to analyse and examine only a particular VOI (volume of interest). Definig VOI is also very useful in terms of removing the structures outside the body, for example an acquisition table, and concetrating only on the tissue in issue.
