1 Minute Preprocessing
The automatic segmentation and automatic centreline extraction make the evaluating process much faster and more automated. The results are an extremely short preprocessing time, which is measured to be approximately 1 minute on a regular desktop computer.

Automatic Centerline Extraction
Being one of the most important components of MedicView Virtual Colonoscopy, the centerline extraction enables to automatically fly through the colon following its exact centerline.

Multiple Colon Segmentation
From simple thresholding and region growing to 3D active contours and statistical shape models.

Automatic Fly Through Generation
A doctor quickly manoeuvres through the entire colon antegrade and retrograte making a complete examination of the colon lumen.

Prone/Supine Comparison
The automated prone and supine datasets matching assures the desired quality of the examination able to find polyps of less than 10mm in size.

Electronic Cleansing
The electronic cleansing feature thoroughly removes all taged residual material in the colon clearing the view of the previously obscured anomalous structures.
